Our aim is to benefit our members with opportunities, not only by creating wealth through property but also the opportunity to own their own homes.
Sibanye Society Housing Development Trust (SSHDT) was founded in 2008 by Durban Members who were struggling to find suitable and affordable low cost accommodation within the Durban City and surroundings.
The aim of the project is to afford the society an opportunity to be house owners ? or rather home owners to establish society own funded housing club. Recognizing an opportunity, they took it upon themselves to start Sibanye Society Housing Trust and make contributions towards the building of these houses as the club or trust.
